As a major event Ideas at the Powerhouse occupied the entire Brisbane Powerhouse, a high profile, beautifully positioned, contemporary facility itself dedicated to innovation, creative risk and surprise.

Making the most of the venue's, facilities and potential of the Powerhouse, the Ideas at the Powerhouse program will included:

• Major lectures, panel sessions and debates in the 400 seat Powerhouse Theatre.
• Lectures, forums and discussions in the 200 seat Visy Theatre.
• Late Night Ideas, debates and discussions in the Spark Bar.
• Ideas Bizare, a marketplace of speakers, booths and inventions, in the Turbine Hall, foyer, outdoor entrance and park areas.
