Ideas Online

In the lead up to Ideas at the Powerhouse, Ideas Online was online and interactive. Commencing in May 2001, Ideas Online offered online activities and opportunities to share ideas. With information, updates and moderated discussion groups, Ideas Online provided opportunities to interact with panelists and speakers and contribute comment to the live event.

 

Whose idea was that?

Your questions, theoretical or practice, historical or futuristic about ideas, innovation and invention were answered though a direct link to the State Library Reference Centre. Questions and answers are still online. No one managed to stump the librarians!

Your Ideas

Kids and adults submitted ideas to Your Ideas. All the ideas are still on the website.

Ideas Links

Ideas Links included links to ideas sites and organisations around the world.

Discussion groups

Eight online discussion groups themed body, diversity, connections, movement, globe, light, span and transformation operated over four months. Several speakers who attended Ideas at the Powerhouse posted their comments to the discussions. Find out more about the discussion groups.
