Writing The City Part 4 - Architectural Fictions
Writing the City is an ongoing series of site-specific projects
by artist, Dr. Lisa Anderson. These works use sites and spaces in
ways that invite comment through the interruptive focus of the narratives.
Writing on cities, the stories of the past, the present and the
future are told. Visually, the texts re-interpret the space within
architectural traditions of surface decoration to create layers
of meaning for the user/tenant of the space. These works play within
the new boundaries of the fragmented city to create an impasto of
personal memory within the consumption and commodification of notions
of community. Writing The City Part 4 - Architectural Fictions is
presented at the Ideas Bazaar.
