The Queensland Government is proud to be associated
with Ideas at the Powerhouse, an exciting forum which
promises to enlight, inspire and most importantly, entertain
people with innovative and prolific ideas on various
social, economic and environmental issues.
By creating this "think tank" event, Queenslanders

unique event, the first of its kind in Queensland, will
promote innovative thought, passionate debates and a
collective desire to learn more outside the boundaries
of our everyday lives.

year for Queensland, as we prepare to host the Goodwill
Games and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting
(CHOGM), along with the state wide Centenary of Federation
celebrations. The Ideas at the Powerhouse will work
